No motion picture can be shot without a cinematographer. A cinematographer helps decide what the picture on the screen will look like, which angle to shoot from as well as lighting and set design.


The beauty of films lies in the ability to capture all what is surrounding us in a unique and creative way. This is what Cinematography is. It actually enables cinematographers to create their own visual language while working with a director who best realizes  a film 's story through images in motion.

Cinematography cannot be subjected to just Film making. We can make our daily life a cinema when captured by the lens.

The director is the magic creator of the cinema and with his magic wand directs the light  throwing different colour in the right  angle to bring life into the subject. It is an art and science of recording light onto an image. This can be technically done electronically or with the use of chemical.

The secret of a cinematographic director is having a good vision with which he controls the artistic and dramatic aspects of the film. In this school the students work directly with tools and equipment's like shooting with HD cameras, 16mm film, 35 mm film and variant types of camera. Here You Learn Develop an understanding of collaboration between the cinematographer and director. Prepare basic pre-production materials to support the production of a short film. Demonstrate basic skills in the roles of camera assistant, gaffer and key grip. Explore the progression of technology and broad artistic trends throughout the history of filmmaking. Successfully complete a variety of short film projects, managing each project through the pre-production, production and post-production phases. Utilize a production workflow that allows the creative team to maintain control over the image through all phases of production, from principal photography through to final distribution.
