Mr. Ankit Savla

Ankit comes with 11 years of professional experience in the field of Design & Strategy in India & Germany. Currently, he is a Design Partner at Studio ASA, Mumbai which executes Architectural & Interior Design projects in India and Kenya and is a Cofounder at OPE Innovation Lab which works in the domain of Human-centered Design across sectors.

Upon completion of his B. Arch. from the University of Mumbai, he was awarded the prestigious DAAD Scholarship to pursue his Masters in Architecture (Computational Design) at one of the leading design schools in Europe - Staedelschule Architecture Class.

After working in Germany he pushed himself into new frontiers and completed multiple post-professional certifications in Design Thinking at the d.school in Berlin (sister school of d.school, Stanford University).

Ankit has also been associated as a Visiting Faculty in several design and business schools across India for over half a decade where he trains students in Design Thinking, Spatial Design, Systems Thinking, Ethnography and Computational Design & Protototyping.

He believes that his training and practice as an Designer & Strategist enables him to empathetically delve into complex systems of design and business to catalyze inter-disciplinary problem solving and also create co-operations between academia and the industry. His cross-disciplinary expertise, multi-cultural experiences & "glocal" networks have helped him deliver solutions for varied industries by bridging Innovation in Design & Technology with Innovation in Business Strategy.
